They said that memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, and the things you never want to lose. God gave us memories that could last a lifetime. Precious memories that are worthy to hold, that serve as the way to precious success and happiness. Memories shared with family, friends, and to a person whom we hope to be ours, with a person whom we used to love. There are also some instances that we wish a certain sad memory to be a happy one. But instead of wishing and longing for that certain memory, we divert our attention to focus more on reality. Reality that may help us know how people view us as an individual. Memories of the past, maybe sad or happy let ourselves be guided by this memories to improve ourselves and to become a better one.
A simple thought to ponder:
“If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don’t, they never were.”
My life centers on God, family and profession. Being human created by God on His image and likeness, we people should serve God and His creation. God made us to be the steward of His creation especially the human race. We are created with purpose and mission not only to fulfill our wants and desires but to help one another to be worthy of all the blessings God gave to us. As we tackle life’s ups and downs there is God who guide us and lift us in times of trouble and hardships.
As we live in this world, life should be preserved that’s why we are created to help and live with others. Our family is the first people who cares and bring us to the face of wonderful yet unfair world. They are the one who teaches and molded us to be a better citizen of our nation. My family as one of the center of my life gives me the privilege to be a better person, to serve not only for them but for mankind. They help me grow carefully with their loving and caring hands even if life seems to be difficult and unclear.
My profession. Nursing for me, is one of the noblest of all professions. Yes, I know that everybody has the capability of giving care and restore life, but being cared by a caring nurse gives one the feeling of worthiness and appreciation. Being a nurse gives almost all the opportunity of giving value to God’s creation especially the human race. But a true and certified nurse is not only when you have already had your license at your hand but by how you give value and dignity to the person you are caring.
God, family and my profession makes my life meaningful. They are the center as well as the outer layer of my life.
“I may not be good to everyone but surely I will be the best to someone who appreciates me.”
