Why Do Most Women Love Roses

Life, Love No Comments »

When asked, many women would say there favorite flower is rose. “Roses speak to women’s heart” and is the most symbolic flower in the world. Try giving a woman a bouquet of red roses and at the very least, you’ll see her crack a grin, even if she’s not the type to gush over the beauty of flowers.

Each woman has her own unique personality and there is no universal reason as to why flowers evoke such positive reactions from them. It can be said that it is not so much the flowers themselves but the meaning and thought behind it that makes women giggle like high school teenagers.

It’s the meaning of flowers that draws positive responses from people. Every single color and type of flower comes with its own traditional meaning and sentiment - symbolism that have been developed through time.

The giving of rose carries special meaning and the selection of color may vary depending on the intention and motive of a giver as to the personality or the receiver. Here are the list of colors of roses and it’s meaning:

Red rose denotes deep love and affection. It symbolizes true love that would stand the test of time. A red rosebud stands for youthful love, purity, innocent and fresh.

Pink is not just for girls, and it is not just a pretty color. The most widely accepted interpretation of pink roses is grace and gentility.  It also denotes an admiration of beauty, and enduring grace.  It is a flower of sweet though and gentle emotions.

Lavender rose, the rarest and is often a sign of enchantment and love at first sight. Those who have been enraptured by feelings of love and adoration have used lavender roses to express their romantic feelings and intentions.

Blue roses do not occur in nature, at least not the absolute blue rose. The blue rose being in itself something very extraordinary expresses that very same feeling. “You are extraordinarily wonderful”, the blue rose exclaims. The blue rose is a flower that seeks to convey a message of mystery, complex personality that does not allow easy interpretation, enchantment and a sense of the impossible.

Purity, sincerity, innocence, and virtue is what the shimmering white roses indicates. When you need to convince that your affections are straight from the heart and are as pure as virgin snow, use a white rose. But there are more hidden meanings in a white rose than meets the eye. It is also called “the flower of light” which means everlasting love.

Yellow roses express joy, gladness, and friendship. They’re also used as a reminder to a loved one to show that you care. The sender of yellow roses delicately indicates that while his affection is straight from the heart, there are no hidden depths.

Nice Philosophy

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so when we finally meet the right person we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but we often look so long at the closed door that we don’t see the one that has opened before us.

The best kind of friend is the kind that you can sit on a front porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.

It is true we don’t know what we have until we lose it, but it is also true we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back! Don’t expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts, but if it doesn’t be content it grew in yours. It only takes a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don’t go for looks, they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone that makes you smile because it only takes a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life that you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them up from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and chance to do all the things that you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those that cry, those who have hurt, those who have searched, and for those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile. grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can’t go well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches,

When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you’re the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

They said that memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, and the things you never want to lose. God gave us memories that could last a lifetime. Precious memories that are worthy to hold, that serve as the way to precious success and happiness. Memories shared with family, friends, and to a person whom we hope to be ours, with a person whom we used to love. There are also some instances that we wish a certain sad memory to be a happy one. But instead of wishing and longing for that certain memory, we divert our attention to focus more on reality. Reality that may help us know how people view us as an individual. Memories of the past, maybe sad or happy let ourselves be guided by this memories to improve ourselves and to become a better one.

A simple thought to ponder:

If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don’t, they never were.

Feelings

Everytime I see you smile,
You bring joy to my heart full of sigh;
You brighten up my very first day,
And enlightens my mind in every way.

Hopeless romantic I may be,
I dedicate this poem to thee;
Wondering somehow you know what I feel,
This feeling of mine, for you was real.

Sunshine in the midst of the day,
Gives light in every words you say;
I think, I’ve been fallen in love deeply,
Hoping someday, you’ll love me possibly.

Moonlight in the middle of the night,
Dreaming of you hugging me tight;
This feeling of love I kept inside,
Someday I woke up having you by my side.

And when I looked into your eyes,
There’s a mutual feelings I realize;
“I love you,” I told you;
“I love you, too,” you told me so.

Read and Learn:  In life, never welcome something you cannot entertain.  Never open you doors if your heart means to close.  Never accept love if you cannot give yourself in return.  Never start a relationship you know you would want to end.  Two of the shortest words in the English language are YES and NO and yet they are often the ones that require the most thought before they are spoken.     —Karena G.

It is not “DESTINY” that determines “LOVE” it is “CHOICE” our so-called “DESTINY” is a lie.  Relationships last long not because they’re destined to last long.Relationship last long because two brave people make a choice. To keep it, to fight for it, and to work for it.  Meanwhile, other relationships fail not becasue they’re destined to fail.  They failed because one of the two, or both, made the choice-to set the other free.   —Princess C.

1. What place will religion have in my life?
Whether you like it or not, you have to choose the central point around which your life will revolves. If you were raised with rigid and with absorbed spiritual values, you will likely to make God your major focus.

2. What vocation shall I choose?
The choice of an occupation is a vital importance for it is where we spend so many hours a day engaged in the chosen vocation. Whether it be as teacher or a nurse if your lifework fails to challenged you and bring you rewards you hoped for, you will found yourself frustrated and unhappy.

Inspirational Bible Verses

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him? What will separate us from the love of Christ?… I am contented that neither death, nor life,… will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
— Rom 8:28, 31-32 35, 38-39

Inspirational Bible Verses

Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”
— Matthew 5:44

Inspirational Bible Verses

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God…Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do. And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection.”
— Col 3:1, 12-14

Inspirational Bible Verses

“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condenmed. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

The Center of My Life

Family, Life, Profession 1 Comment »

My life centers on God, family and profession. Being human created by God on His image and likeness, we people should serve God and His creation. God made us to be the steward of His creation especially the human race. We are created with purpose and mission not only to fulfill our wants and desires but to help one another to be worthy of all the blessings God gave to us. As we tackle life’s ups and downs there is God who guide us and lift us in times of trouble and hardships.

Lord God

As we live in this world, life should be preserved that’s why we are created to help and live with others. Our family is the first people who cares and bring us to the face of wonderful yet unfair world. They are the one who teaches and molded us to be a better citizen of our nation. My family as one of the center of my life gives me the privilege to be a better person, to serve not only for them but for mankind. They help me grow carefully with their loving and caring hands even if life seems to be difficult and unclear.

Nurse

My profession. Nursing for me, is one of the noblest of all professions. Yes, I know that everybody has the capability of giving care and restore life, but being cared by a caring nurse gives one the feeling of worthiness and appreciation. Being a nurse gives almost all the opportunity of giving value to God’s creation especially the human race. But a true and certified nurse is not only when you have already had your license at your hand but by how you give value and dignity to the person you are caring.

God, family and my profession makes my life meaningful. They are the center as well as the outer layer of my life.

I may not be good to everyone but surely I will be the best to someone who appreciates me.”
